Cel przedmiotu

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of logistics, processes taking place in logistics, as well as with the essence and conditions of the functioning and management of supply chains.

Logistic processes in an enterprise, logistics in an enterprise, the essence of supply chains, logistics and the supply chain, entities in supply chains, relations between participants in supply chains, logistics networks, flow planning in the supply chain, IT systems in supply chains, reverse logistics, demand synchronization and supply chain, Japanese solutions in supply chain management.

Metody kształcenia

Lecture with the use of a multimedia presentation, exercises with the use of case studies and tasks.

Warunki zaliczenia

Lecture covers the basics of the problems of logistics and supply chain management. Assessment is made in writing.

During the tutorials, students solve problems and propose solutions within the presented case studies. The condition for obtaining a credit is: passing 2 tests, activity during classes.

The final grade for the exercises is calculated on the basis of positive partial grades obtained during the course of the subject (project, test, activity, etc.) The final grade for the subject is the arithmetic mean of the positive grades from the individual forms of exercises (i.e. lectures, exercises, laboratory, projects) conducted within the subject.

The sum of the obtained points determines the assessment according to the scale: 5.0 (90% -100% of points possible), 4.5 (80% -89%), 4.0 (70% -79%), 3.5 (60% -69% ), 3.0 (51% -59%)
