Student is familiar with management information systems, including, warehouse management systems, geographic information systems, enterprise resource planning and decision support systems.

The framework of an information system in an organization, classification of management information systems, typical functionalities of warehouse management systems (WMS), geographic information systems (GIS), decision support systems (DSS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. The execution of typical business processes in areas such as sales, production, purchasing, and accounting. The registration of documents in a standard enterprise resource planning system; documents are related to warehousing, sales order, shipping document, invoice, work order, scheduling, MRP suggestion, purchase order, stock receipt, acceptance of goods, invoice voucher, payment management. Creating maps and computing data with the use of spatial information systems. Transport Management System. Solver as a tool supporting management processes.
Software presentation in the computer laboratory, project method, laboratory exercises.

Students obtain two grades: one for a project concerning the chosen information management system and second for activity during exercises performed in laboratories. The final grade is the average of above-mentioned grades.
