Ways of regulating water conditions. Drainage by means of ditches, drainage by means of drainage pipelines. Elements of the drainage network, materials, standards and guidelines, technical parameters of the drainage network, security, structures on the drainage network. Water movement in soil and in river beds. Agromelioration and phytomelioration. Plant irrigation. Drainage of agricultural, urban, industrial and communication areas.

Project: assessment of the project - the completeness of the project, correctness of the descriptions and calculations and correctness of the graphic illustration, attendance in class are taken into account. The approved project must be defended.
Lecture: the basis for passing the lecture is positive results of the colloquium. Grading scale: points received/ grade: 0 - 50%/ insufficient; 51 - 60%/ sufficient; 61 - 70%/ sufficient plus; 71 - 80%/ good; 81 - 90%/ good plus; 91 - 100%/ very good.
Grading scale: points obtained/ grade: 0 - 50%/ insufficient; 51 - 60%/ sufficient; 61- 70%/ sufficient plus; 71 - 80%/ good; 81 -90%/ good plus; 91 -100%/ very good.
The basis for determining the final grade is the weighted average obtained by adding: 0.5 of the lecture grade, 0.5 of the project grade. The weighted average is rounded to two decimal places. The final grade is determined on the basis of the weighted average according to the following rule: below 3.24 - sufficient, from 3.25 to 3.74 - sufficient plus, from 3.75 to 4.24 - good, from 4.25 to 4.74 - good plus, from 4.75 - very good.
