The aim of the course is to present issues from the history of Poland in the inter-war period 1918-1939 in a political, economic, social, and cultural perspective. The course will be conducted in a problem-based approach, taking into account the complexity of historical processes and phenomena as well as their causes and effects. The main task of the teacher will be to develop the student’s ability to understand the complex situation of the Second Polish Republic and the importance of its tradition to the present-day Polish society.

Grade based on active participation in classes, preparation of a given topic (presentation, lecture), passing the final test obtaining a minimum of 60% of the total number of points.
