The aim of the course is to introduce students to the psychological and behavioral aspects of nutrition and their impact on dietary and health processes. Students will explore the connections between the psyche and eating behaviors, learning methods for working with patients in the context of their eating habits and psychological needs.

Role of body awareness and self-esteem in shaping dietary habits.
Interpersonal communication in dietary practice: building trust and motivating dietary changes.
Psychological aspects of nutrition during childhood and adolescence.
Psychodietetics and metabolic disorders: diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and other conditions.
Therapeutic techniques in psychodietetics: cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy.

Psychological barriers to changing dietary habits and strategies to overcome them.
