Cel przedmiotu

The intention of the lecturer is to familiarize students with a variety of methods of analysis of surveys data.

Zakres tematyczny

  1. Getting to know the methodology of surveys (from conceptualization, through preparing a questionnaire, sampling, implementation, and analysis of the results).
  2. The use of computers in surveys.
  3. Creation and "cleaning" data set.
  4. Basic mono- and multi-variable analysis.
  5. Rules of constructing scales and indexes.
  6. Work with the browser of the European Social Survey data.
  7. Writing a research report and preparing the presentation.
