The subject of education is learning about the issues related to the implementation of logistics processes within an enterprise and in its environment, using internet techniques. The course participant will be able to identify logistic processes implemented by the company and document their course with the use of modelling standards for business processes. He will become acquainted with the method of mapping the course of logistic processes in the functions and modules of enterprise management systems and the problems of data flow between co-operating entities, including marking issues and the automatic identification of goods. He will be presented with various aspects of organising basic processes, related to the movement of goods and the resulting flow of information.
The following issues will be discussed during lectures: Principles of the generation of models for business processes (BPMN and UML). Examples of the course of processes related to the handling of internal and external demands for goods, materials and raw materials. Modules and functions of handling demand for materials in ERP systems. The internal and external flow of documents in the area of purchases, sales, and warehouse management. Functions of the ERP system modules, supporting communication management with related entities and business partners. Standards and measures for information exchange in the supply chain. Examples of support for basic processes such as the generation and transmission of orders, the generation of documents and the settlement of transport costs, the generation and servicing of requests for quotes, acceptance of client orders and the transmission of settlement documents. Modes, protocols and carriers of information exchange, in various supplier-recipient systems (closely related entities, deliveries when handling contract orders, servicing consignment warehouses, etc. Examples of the use of technology for the implementation of electronic data exchange systems. Different structures of information exchange systems/documentation, in electronic form, during logistics processes, from the point of view of administration and handling/services. Intersystem communication carriers, tools and means of integration for the ESB, SOA and WEBSERICES systems - service-oriented architectures.
