Cel przedmiotu

The aim of the study is to learn to ski, familiarize students with the theoretical basics of skiing techniques, methodology of teaching skiing and how to safely organize winter sport camp.

Methodology of physical education.

Zakres tematyczny

History and rules of skiing. Methods of teaching skiing, ski equipment and safety skiing. Methodology and systematic exercises in teaching: falling and getting up, using lifts, snowplough, sideslipping, stem turns and traversing, kickturns, parallel turns. Rules of the Intermnational Ski Federation (FIS). First aid one the ski slopes.

Metody kształcenia

Demonstration, the analytical method, synthetic method, study of teaching materials.
