To acquaint students with the construction and functioning of the main physiological systems of animals. Demonstration of dependencies and mechanisms of cooperation of individual organs and organs at the organism level. Mechanisms of maintaining homeostasis in the body. Teaching students the basic principles of safe work in the laboratory of animal physiology and the operation of basic laboratory equipment such as: light microscope, centrifuge, spectrophotometer, automatic pipettes, urine analyzer. Creating the need for responsibility for obtaining the correct result of the analysis. Development of a critical approach to obtained results and analysis of possible analytical errors.
Knowledge of basic biochemical processes. Using a light microscope on each of the magnifications. Knowledge of animal system systematics at the high school level.
1. The physiology of the senses of vertebrate animals.
2. Red blood cell system of vertebrates.
3. White blood cell system of vertebrates.
4. Processes of obtaining and transporting energy.
5. Circulatory system - exercise strains.
6. Physiology of the excretory system - morphological and chemical composition of urine.
7. Homeostasis as a result of cooperation of all systems.
Laboratory classes in which the student personally performs hematological and biochemical analyzes in the blood. He studies in vitro digestive processes. Analyzes qualitative and quantitative components of urine. Analyzes the course of physiological experiments carried out on animals based on didactic films.

The condition for passing is to obtain positive marks from all laboratory exercises planned for implementation as part of the laboratory program. The final mark for passing the subject is the arithmetic average of the grades for individual classes.
Test pass thresholds:
91-100 % - very good
76-90 % - good
51-75 % - satisfactory
0-50 % - unsatisfactory
