Cel przedmiotu

The acknowledgement of photography in contemporary art. Photography as a tool that enables and broadens means and ways of expression in various areas of output. The students will be able to acquire their skills to realise their own concepts through various ways of work based on techniques and technology of photography. The students will develop an awareness of artistic expression through photography within various experimental activities. Students have an opportunity to interpret the programme through analogue, digital recording, video, objects and installation.

Basic skills in the following areas: acquiring basic techniques and technology of photography-independent means of expression and photography as an interdisciplinary means of artistic [removed]basic workshop activities, use of computer photoshop programme).The awareness of the tradition of photography.

Metody kształcenia

Regular group classes. Presentation of selected topics and ideas by means of visual presentations, group work in Photography Labs, one to one tutorials, group discussions.

Warunki zaliczenia

Regular attendance is a necessary but not sufficient criteria for a pass. The student is also expected to produce work for assessments in the form of exhibition portfolio.
