The aim of the course is to familiarize the student with the TSL analysis for the needs of companies operating in the logistics industry. Moreover, to familiarize the student with the elementary processes included in TSL and the possibilities of their practical application.
Knowledge of the basics of logistics is recommended.
Lecture: The role and place of logistics in a business. Principles of shaping logistics in an business. Functions and responsibilities of employees in the TSL industry. Loading unit - forming various types of loads (homogeneous and heterogeneous). Manipulation activities in transport processes. Transport and forwarding documents, Transport planning - procedure and application. Types of documentation occurring in logistic processes. Elements of sustainable logistics development.
Exercises:
Determining the number of reloading stations and their parameters. The time of an example of one average truck work cycle. The working time of drivers for one-person and two-person staff. Documents accompanying transport and forwarding. Invoices in TSL. Transport planning.
Lecture: conventional lecture.
Exercises: group work, brainstorming, problem solving, case studies.

Practice: The condition for passing Practice is the active participation of the student in the classes, attendance at the tutorials and receiving a positive grade from the final test.
Lecture: Completion of the lecture by obtaining a positive grade from the exam checking the knowledge acquired during the lectures, supplemented with the recommended literature. The condition for proceeding to pass the lecture is to obtain a positive grade from the exercises.
