Cel przedmiotu

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the use of ICT technologies in business and institutions at national and international levels. They will gain skills to evaluate impact on the development of a global information society and the development of practical skills to use knowledge in professional work.

Zakres tematyczny

Definitions of the subject area. The concept of information and ICT systems. Development of the information society. Global information society. Determinants of the information society. Web- and e-business demographics, Internet and mobile technologies, m-business. Social networks, semantic networks. Information security and fake news as an asymmetrical threat.

Warunki zaliczenia

Credit of project refers to the use of ICT approach to prepare the document evaluating typical ICT systems related to different business areas. Moreover, student should prepare written work with the presentation of her/his choices and tools chosen for performed design activities. Student can get maximal 5 points for the above-mentioned works. The criteria for a grade: 0-5.0 points „2.0”, 5.1-6.0 points „3.0”, 6.1-7.0 points „3.5”, 7.1-8.0 points „4.0”, 8.1-9.0 points „4.5”, 9.1-10.0 points „5.0”.
