The aim of the course is to master the graphic workshop based on technologies such as linocut, gravure, lithography, serigraphy and digital printing. The classes focused on initiate one's own process of artistic creation based on the techniques learned and a discussion about topic of artistic work.
Students present their portfolio (works made in other studios, e.g. drawing or painting, or works done outside the studio) and more. This is to get to know the student, his predispositions and interests. Students should have basic theoretical knowledge of the history of graphics and be familiar with the issues of current art and culture.
The classes will familiarize students with the basic techniques of etching, relief printing, screen printing, lithography and digital printing. The printing process plays a huge role. Printing in artistic graphics does not have to be a mechanical activity and can be an element of artistic creation. The program assumes the freedom and independence of the search. Students should deepen their technological knowledge, combine techniques or even experiment to find such means of artistic expression that would in the most appropriate way allow for the implementation of their own creative intentions. Students carry out their tasks based on the projects consulted and approved by the leader of the studio. The scope of exercises and topics is related to the year of study and depends on the individual predispositions of the student.
Classes take the form of exercises and activities in the graphic studio. Students create graphics based on the topics proposed by the teachers of the studio. In some cases, students implement their own thematic proposals. After accepting the project, the technique, method of implementation and printing method are selected.
