Cel przedmiotu

The aim of this course is to:

- master the skills of independent execution of interior design projects and interior detail design in the pre-defined space and develop skills in creative space planning. Preparation for the implementation of projects in the field of interior design and for system design, as well as comprehensive design.

  • familiarize students with the possibilities of potential changes linking issues of various disciplines and issues from different disciplines and fields of knowledge in the field of the developed space. Zakres tematyczny

The basis of course contents is the knowledge of the shape and form of architectural space in relation to man. Both are seen as issues arising from the integration of artistic experience, technical knowledge, humanistic tradition, culture, and economic reasons.

The projects relate to the human environment, understood as interior landscaping, residential and public buildings, workplaces, places of rest, and recreation.

An important issue is that students understand the scope of the changes in the process of transforming design. The effect of education is to prepare the implementation of projects in the field of interior design.

The course is to prepare students for system design, as well as comprehensive design.

In the classes of the course of the Interior Architecture Design Basics, issues are discussed concerning the analysis and selection problems in a specific project and utility, technical and aesthetic issues combined with historical, cultural, and social conditions.

Student masters the skills of synthetic and linear recording design information, at the stage of project development, as well as giving the final.

Metody kształcenia

Classes are based on the implementation of individual projects or work in groups, and are connected with the discussion. Classes are complemented with presentations and lectures, that might be combined with multimedia presentations.

Warunki zaliczenia

Included with the assessment of the rank test on the basis of the work done, (the quality and originality), and presentation of the project.

The student's work and the project are rated overall, considering the attendance, participation, involvement, and systematic work.

Presentation of the design process and finalizing the project in the specified period are the conditions to pass the course.
