Complement and expand Information Technology skills from high school in computer design, operating systems, application software such as word processing and spreadsheets, as well as the basics of creating websites and services available on the Internet.
Knowledge of computer basics in the high school range.
1. Construction and basics of computer operation.
2. Operating systems (proprietary and from the free and open source software group).
3. Basic software, utilities, utility software;
4. Types of licenses.
5. Services available on the Internet.
6. Text editors (proprietary and from the group of free and open source software), including mathematical texts.
7. Spreadsheets (proprietary and from the group of free and open source software).
8. Presentation creation.
9. Fundamentals of JavaScript, XHTML, CSS.
Laboratory exercises - independent work at the computer.
Each topic is carried out according to the scheme:
1) Introduction to the topic by the instructor illustrated by examples.
2) Subsequent examples students perform independently in class.
3) Then each student is given a task to perform outside of class with a deadline.
4) Credit for the performance of the task for the next topic is evaluated in the form of a conversation, handed in work.
