Sculpture - opis przedmiotu

Cel przedmiotu

To introduce students to basic sculpting techniques and working through space, developing skills of conscious shaping of object and space and their mutual relations. Experiencing work with space through the conscious use of various elements included in its scope.  They are preparing to work in a professional environment of visual arts.

Basic knowledge of sculpture. General artistic sensitivity in the area of working with space. 

Zakres tematyczny

Introduction to sculpture workshop works from the study area, a study of space and mutual relations of object and body in space. Documentation and realization of spatial objects (photography documenting space and object, project-technical drawing, visualization and project description).

 

Metody kształcenia

Developing classical workshops and experimenting with various current sculpting techniques. Opening the concept of sculpture to the contexts of other visual arts that also operate in the spatial environment. Treating sculpture as a fully-fledged artistic expression resulting from one's concepts and emotions. Encouraging students to develop a sense of immersion in experiencing space on all creative levels.
