A prerequisite for passing the lecture is obtaining a positive grade in a written multiple-choice test covering the issues presented in the lecture. A positive mark is obtained after obtaining 55 percent of positive answers.
In order to pass the exercises, a positive grade from one colloquium is required. The test consists of three open questions and one mathematical task. Questions scored on a scale of 0 to 1 in 0.25 point increments. A pass mark of at least 2.25 points is awarded.
An additional criterion taken into account for the final grade of the exercises is the activity in class marked by the instructor. Student activity in at least 60% of classes translates into an increase of the final grade by half.
