Familiarizing the student with further aspects of the functioning of the market economy (extending to the Microeconomics course). Presentation of the tools of microeconomic analysis necessary for the interpretation of economic phenomena and processes. Acquisition by the student of the practical application of knowledge in the field of microeconomics.
Knowledge of the basics of microeconomics.
Relationships between micro and macroeconomics. Directions and scope of extending the basic microeconomics course, including the problem of income inequality and the impact of climate change on the economy. Global and local externalities. Risk, uncertainty and the economy of global warming. New indicators, sources and methods of analysis at the microeconomic level. Climate change cost-benefit analysis. Regulatory and alternative solutions. The importance of altruism and other unselfish behavior. The importance of knowledge and science in curbing climate change.

Lecture – credit with grade exercises – credit with grade. The condition for passing the lecture is a positive (at least 60% of correct answers) passing the test and the project in the field of theoretical issues presented at the lecture. In the case of a small number of students, an oral exam will be conducted.
The condition for crediting to evaluation of the exercises is a positive passing of the colloquium. The result of the colloquium will be an assessment of knowledge and skills. The final grade consists of a colloquium (60%), presence in classes (20%) and activity in classes, deepened by independent reading of recommended items at home (20%).
