Competence development in change management process

Content of lectures:
Definitions of change. Classification of change. Economic aspects of change. Determinants of the process implementation of change Types of resistance to change. The reasons for the resistance. Methods of eliminating resistance to change. Methods of forming a positive attitude of employees towards change. Models to facilitate the acceptance of change. Stages of change. Strategies of their implementation.
Content of class:
The essence of change. Psychosocial consequences of change. Behavior of employees towards changes Building support for change. The role of manager in the change process. Lewin's model. The importance of communication in the change process. Issues related to employee participation in the change process
Lecture - conventional
Exercises - discussion, case study, team working.

Credit requirements for classes : the credit includes the issues realized during the lectures and exercises. lectures and exercises - the task is related to the process of change implementation. It consists of 1) evaluation of change implementation or 2) analysis of a problem issue related to change management. The grade depends on: the assessment of the situation, the way of the analysis (completeness/multisidedness), solution proposals (consistency, creativity, application of knowledge) and clarity of presentation.
Credit requirements for lectures: written examination, covering with its subject matter the contents realized during the lectures and exercises. Evaluation depends on the number of points obtained (min.60%). The condition to take the exam is a positive mark from exercises.
Final evaluation:
The final evaluation consists of the result obtained from the lecture (50%) and exercises (50%). However, it is calculated on the assumption that credit is obtained from both forms of classes
