Cel przedmiotu

Familiarizing students with knowledge about financial processes in the organization and basic financial decisions.

Wymagania wstępne

Basic knowledge of mathematics, statistics, microeconomics, accounting and financial mathematics.

Zakres tematyczny

The rate of return of financial instruments and the basics of risk analysis in finance. Variation of the value of money in time and elements of financial mathematics. Structure and cost of capital. Net working capital operating cycle. Basic areas of financial analysis. Analysis of the effectiveness of investment projects using the project finance technique. Estimating the need for external financing. Sources of financing current and investment activities. Futures market transactions.

Warunki zaliczenia

Lectures on the subject end with an exam with grade thresholds.

Exercises in the subject end with a pass with a grade. The condition for passing the classes is: a positive grade from the colloquium (60%) and activity in classes (40%).
