Cel przedmiotu

To familiarize the student with analytical methods in business, the use of statistical programs in business, creating econometric models, delaying variables in time, removing variables, correlation analysis and heat maps, selected taxonomic methods.

Descriptive statistics, IT.

Zakres tematyczny

Comprehensive comparative analysis of the structure (statistical description) using computer programs (various calculation possibilities, statistical charts). Regression analysis - a method of analysis of variance and methods of description and inference in the field of linear and non-linear regression. Variable correlation analysis - measures of linear and non-linear dependence and measures of correlation of qualitative variables. The use of statistical programs in business, creating econometric models, delaying variables in time, deleting variables, correlation analysis and heat maps, selected taxonomic methods. Other methods depending on the availability of analysis packages.

Metody kształcenia

Laboratories with the use of a spreadsheet and selected computer programs, involving the use of statistical tools, in groups or individually, in solving business problems.
