Cel przedmiotu

The aim of teaching is to acquire advanced knowledge of the strategic game. Getting to know the essence, principles, models, methods and techniques of strategic management used in strategic games. Moreover, the acquisition of practical skills in identifying problems and selecting appropriate methods to solve problems. Understanding the processes of strategic analysis, strategic planning and strategy implementation; Applying methods of strategic analysis, strategic planning and implementation of strategies to solve management problems.

Zakres tematyczny

As part of the lectures: introduction to classes. Become familiar with the syllabus of the subject. Overview of the rules for passing the course. The essence of strategy, game and strategic management. Levels and types of strategies. Global and local context of the strategy; strategy formulation process; methods of strategic analysis of the organization's environment; elements of strategic sector analysis; strategic planning methods; strategy implementation; strategies of cooperation and value creation; strategic games under the influence of globalization and dynamic environment.

As part of the exercises: the essence of strategy and strategic management. Levels and types of strategies; application of the methods of strategic analysis, strategic planning, strategy implementation. Formulating and evaluating alternative strategic options; characteristics of selected types of strategies. Stakeholder value analysis. Strategic control.

Metody kształcenia

Conventional lecture, delivery method, presentation of data and information (projector, foil), multimedia presentation, interactive communication, exercises, work in task teams, own work - preparation for classes and to be assessed, presentation, discussion.

Warunki zaliczenia

Passing the lecture: the condition for taking the credit is to obtain a positive grade from the exercises. Passing in writing - answer to three questions on the issues required for the exam. The issues will be given to students one month before the exam. Passing the exercises: the condition for passing the exercises is to demonstrate the knowledge of strategic management methods and techniques; presentation of partial and final project elaboration: strategic planning and strategy implementation; justification for the selection of the methods and techniques used in strategic planning and implementation of the strategy; explanation / justification of the results of the work.
