To acquaint students with the macro- and microeconomic foundations of the food economy. Introducing students to the structure and organization of the food economy system in Poland. To acquaint students with the factors and production structures of the food economy in Poland and the EU. Making the audience aware of the universals of the food economy. Familiarizing students with the instruments of the common agricultural policy of the EU.
1. The student should be familiar with the material in the field of microeconomics 2. The student should know what the basic macroeconomic terms (such as GDP, unemployment, inflation, central bank, exchange rate, export, import) mean. 3. The student should show interest in the current economic processes occurring in the country and in the world, through general orientation, eg in the size of macroeconomic aggregates. 4. The student should have the ability to think logically in combining theoretical mechanisms with the practical functioning of the economy.
