Cel przedmiotu

The classes include teaching the principles of using digital tools to support architectural design and scientific and technical presentations.

The aim of the classes is to teach the student the basics of using specialized engineering software and application programs. As part of the course, students learn about technologies related to the processing and presentation of information, with particular emphasis on the use of digital technology and information processing techniques in graphic form in the work of an architect.

In addition, the basic elements of construction information modeling in BIM technology are introduced.

Zakres tematyczny

Basics of using the AUTODESK REVIT program - developing 3D models based on the provided design documentation:

  • Introduction to working with the program (user interface, basic drawing tools, editing elements);
  • Creating design documentation in the form of 3d models, creating basic specifications, descriptions, dimensions and architectural details;
  • Working on sheets, preparing prints.

Introduction to BIM Building Information Modeling Technology:

  • elements of the building information model concept;
  • presentation of BIM software.

The use of computer networks and the Internet to obtain, collect and exchange data from publicly available data.

Learning the program in the field of preparing a model of a building in terms of architecture and its surroundings using BIM modeling, the basics of working on a central model and working in interdisciplinary design groups. Examples of design documentation of a multi-story building, creating cross-sections, views, design details, drafting views and lists of surfaces and materials.

Warunki zaliczenia

Partial Assessments of Individual Stages of Project Development: Students will be evaluated through partial assessments at various stages of project development. These assessments will consist of defined tasks, and the outcome will be categorized as either "passed" or "not passed."

Final Project Evaluation: The final project will be assessed on a scale from 2 to 5, with 5 being the highest score.

Overall Student Evaluation: Students will be evaluated comprehensively, taking into account their overall performance, attendance, participation, engagement, and consistency in their work. The evaluation will cover the entire duration of the course. Students will receive a grade on a scale from 2 to 5 based on these criteria.
