Cel przedmiotu

• Stimulating and developing sensitivity to form, color, and light.
• Cultivating sensitivity and artistic imagination drawing from knowledge of form, perception, and color psychology.
• Stimulating and developing the ability to create form as a visual metaphor for shape and its dynamics.
• Expanding and strengthening the skill of subjective visual thinking, individual style, and artistic expression.
• Shaping perception of structure as the most fundamental visual experience.
• Deepening knowledge of the problems and tasks of art in architecture and the ability to present one's own artistic concepts integrated with architectural form.
• Educating the ability to use artistic techniques, knowledge of color, visual composition, and perception in creating one's own ideas.
• Developing the ability to define the relationships between theoretical and practical aspects of artistic work.
• Educating a creative attitude and understanding of architecture as a field of art playing an important role in social education.

Stimulating and developing color sensitivity, artistic, spatial and compositional imagination drawing on the knowledge of the construction of form and color.

Developing the ability to use painting as a means of artistic expression based on the knowledge of color theory, building form and composition and building space with color, as well as building space from imagination. Developing the ability to use various painting techniques, depending on the situation, e.g. a light conceptual sketch (watercolor), or building the mood with the use of colors and textures (tempera, gouache, acrylic). Gaining basic skills in painting in order to present a color architectural concept or forms created from the imagination. Preparation for presenting one's own interpretation of the composition set in the studio and painting sketches of architecture made in the open air. Theoretical part: The role of color in the interior. Art as a part of architecture. Expressive features of color and elements of color psychology

Zakres tematyczny

• Solving compositional problems independently or in collaboration with the instructor.
• Creating one's own artistic concepts based on general guidelines.
• Individual exploration of artistic expression forms - photography, computer graphics.
• Summarizing results and discussion.

Warunki zaliczenia

• Attendance in classes (minimum 80%).
• Passing all exercises.
• Participation in the final review.
• Active involvement in the exhibition organization.
• Submission of original copies of all works.
• The final grade is the average of grades obtained for partial tasks, attendance, and activity in classes.
