Knowledge: Acquiring fundamental knowledge in the shaping of architectural space, including the theory of its elements and features, as well as the practice of creating new spatial quality.Mastering knowledge in the theory, principles of design, design workshop, and interdisciplinary aspects of architectural design.
Skills: Developing skills in using literature related to the topic, selecting, evaluating, and studying examples; the ability to use design tools, including digital tools, for architectural design.The ability to assess technical and non-technical issues related to the impact of design decisions on the material and non-material environment and on people.
Personal and Social Competences: Fostering imagination, intuition, a creative mindset, and independent thinking in the pursuit of original architectural solutions, presenting one's own ideas and design concepts, expressing opinions on interdisciplinary aspects of architectural design, and promoting the need for collaboration with specialists at all stages of the design process.

In the theoretical part, the lecturer explains the method of project implementation, the scope of legal standardization and parameterization of elements of collective housing buildings, shows examples of completed multi-family residential houses, presents the typology and issues of designing housing architecture, students discuss multi-threaded psychological, spatial and social problems related to living in a closed community, they discuss what should be the characteristics of collective residence houses in an open, mountain, natural and urban landscape in relation to the existing natural and cultural resources. Architecture dedicated to housing communities. Creating community spaces in residential development: cohousing. Discussion of variants of the spatial form of multifunctional development in terms of the concept of a microenvironment as a place of community. Alternative housing - best practices, case studies. Design methods are discussed; application of technical solutions on an architectural and urban scale; ways of presenting and developing an architectural design, theoretical justification of the concept and methods of preparing a technical description of the design.
Project-Based Classes: These classes offer students the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects, facilitating the practical application of their knowledge and enhancing their problem-solving skills.

Final Project Evaluation: The final project will be assessed on a scale from 2 to 5, with 5 being the highest score.
Overall Student Evaluation: Students will be evaluated comprehensively, taking into account their overall performance, attendance, participation, engagement, and consistency in their work. The evaluation will cover the entire duration of the course. Students will receive a grade on a scale from 2 to 5 based on these criteria.
