1. The goal in terms of knowledge is to acquaint the student with the possibilities of making changes in the interior space of a service or residential area, with a particular focus on its function, based on a defined user profile. Group discussions on design concepts are conducted. Students learn about organizing interior space, linear and synthetic representation of it, and how to assess the space to be worked on. They also become familiar with the principles of spatial composition within the interior, such as harmony, contrast, balance, accents, scale, diversity, etc.
Students will work on creating concepts for two interior projects within predefined spaces based on selected semester projects. They will master the skills to sketch a project's interior and provide a final presentation.
The course involves the analysis and adaptation of previously designed interiors in service, educational, or hotel facilities. The goal is to tailor the interiors to fit the user profiles defined.
2. In terms of skills, the aim is to teach students how to develop residential and public interior projects and master the skills of designing interior spaces and interior details within predefined areas. The course also aims to develop the creative skills required to shape space. Students will engage in creative work and group discussions to lead to the creative adaptation of previously designed interiors for residential, service, educational, or hotel purposes. The objective is to adjust the interiors to match the defined user profiles.
3. In the context of personal and social competencies, the course includes group proposal comparisons, defining the function and program of use, and presenting mood boards for a defined project. The emphasis is on creatively modifying the designed space. The stages of the project work are intended to prepare students for analyzing and presenting the user profile and proposed design solutions to the group, as well as justifying the proposed stylistic, compositional, functional, ergonomic, and furniture-related solutions within the specified interior.

Threads such as scale, dimensions, proportions, Corbusier's Modulor, conscious illusions, relationships with humans, contemporary loss of scale, fluidity of measures, relations between architecture and spatial surroundings, psychology of the impact of forms, scenarios of space use and movement determined by spatial systems, Matter architecture, the role of material, material in constructing and finding forms, integration of structure and form, new technologies and their workshop. Issues of composition and construction of forms, functions and architectural construction in a chronological and thematic manner as well as basic theoretical issues of architectural design, design norms and drawing standards, technical conditions, dimensioning, scaling, markings on drawings, anthropometry and topics related to ergonomics and human factors in architecture, relations between man, building objects and elements of nature. Issues related to the creation of the project - basics: a) a conventional set of drawings as a form of communication between the architect and the recipient, b) model and visualization - forms of communication between the architect and the user.
The aim of the course is to master the ability to independently carry out interior designs and interior design details in a pre-defined space and generally to develop the skills of creative space shaping. Familiarizing students with the possibilities of introducing changes combining issues from various disciplines and fields of knowledge in the developed space, in the immediate human environment understood as: residential and public interior, workplace, rest and recreation place. Students in the basic scope learn about the issues of designing spatial compositions from greenery and elements of land equipment. The projects concern the human environment understood as: landscape, residential and public utility interiors, workplaces, places of rest and recreation.
An important issue is students' understanding of the scope of introducing changes in the design transformation process.
**Methods of Delivery:**
Lecture - classroom education, problem-oriented lecture, demonstration, presentation, and panel discussion.
Design Exercises - design tasks, the case method, presentations, and corrections of interior projects with predetermined functions in a specified space.
Consultations and discussion of design issues, based on the analysis of developed design concepts, interim submission, concept presentation, reference to cases.
**Exploratory Methods:**
Creative education, discussion, searching and analysis of analogous solutions, the use of modern electronic tools for project presentations, multimedia.
Defining utility programs and project briefs in student groups, inspiration maps ("mood board"), as well as design and stylistic concepts.

**Lectures:**
The student will earn a passing grade, equivalent to an examination, based on attendance at lectures and the analysis of the assigned topic.
**Project:**
The student's evaluation is based on the stages of project submissions, completed work (quality and originality), and the manner in which the final project is presented.
The overall evaluation takes into account the student's work, attendance in classes, activity, engagement, and consistency in working on successive project stages.
A prerequisite for passing is the completion and presentation of design exercises within a specified deadline, as well as the presentation and submission of the final semester project.
**Principles of Grading:**
The evaluation of educational outcomes from lectures involves the comparison of criteria based on the attendance list and the presentation made before the group.
The assessment of design exercises is calculated based on attendance lists, ergonomics quiz scores, scores for the submission of individual project stages, class participation, presentation before the group, discussion, and the final presentation of the semester project before the group.

A design room with the option of dimming should be equipped with project tables, audiovisual equipment, and boards for writing and presenting project boards. A design room should be equipped with design software specified by the instructor at the beginning of the semester.
