Cel przedmiotu

Preparing students for critically reading texts beyond the basic course, especially scientific articles in English. Preparing students to present mathematical texts both in writing and orally, and to draft independent studies based on information gathered from various sources. Preparing students to write a master's thesis.

Zakres tematyczny

The program depends on the thematic focus of the diploma seminar. Students choose the seminar based on their interests aligned with their preferred specialization upon completing their studies. The thematic scope of the seminars is proposed each time by academic teachers.

Metody kształcenia

Presentation of problems by the teacher conducting the seminar, independent reading of literature, students presenting topics related to their master's thesis in the form of presentations during seminars, discussions, and consultations.

Warunki zaliczenia

The condition for passing is the presentation of a written paper and an oral presentation at the seminar, as well as defining the scope of the master's thesis in accordance with the topic established with the supervisor.
