Cel przedmiotu

Preparation of the student for the use of selected mathematical packages or information systems supporting the process of understanding and analyzing texts beyond the basic curriculum, especially scientific articles in English. Preparation of the student for supporting the presentation of mathematical texts and for drafting independent work using selected analytical software. Preparation of the student for writing a master's thesis.

Completion of the first semester of studies.

Zakres tematyczny

The program depends on the theme of the diploma seminar. Students choose the seminar based on their interests aligned with their preferred specialization upon completing their studies. The thematic scope of seminars is proposed each time by academic teachers.

Metody kształcenia

Presentation of problems, planning, and conducting an analysis of a practical problem in a selected mathematical software package related to the master's thesis preparation.

Warunki zaliczenia

The condition for passing is to present the analysis of a practical problem in a selected mathematical software package during the seminar, in accordance with the topic of the diploma thesis established with the supervisor.
