The course aims to master students’ skills of understanding specialist texts and scientific papers related to the topic of doctoral dissertation. The course also aims to further develop students’ ability to use English in professional context, both in speech and writing.

vocabulary and complex language structures necessary to deepen and broaden students’ ability to:
read, with understanding specialist texts
use of grammar structures characteristic of the language of physics
understand questions relating to student’s research work; giving answers to such questions

discuss dissertation related specialist topics
