Knowledge of biology and ecology at secondary level.
Lectures
Characteristics of aphids, aphids and interspecific hybrids occurring in Poland.
Discussion of the reasons for the disappearance of national and European amphibian populations.
Description of ad hoc and permanent amphibian protection methods, including:
- information boards,
- different types of protection fences (including simple engineering structures);
- green bridges, overpasses,
- underground culverts.
Characteristics of activities restricting the entry of animals into roads.
Creation of replacement micro-environments in degraded and natural areas.
Environmental compensation resulting from loss of amphibian habitat.
Laboratory classes
Recognition of all Polish amphibian species (and interspecies hybrids) and the specificity of their main environmental requirements.
Examples of the use of protective measures relating to the various habitats and species of amphibians.
The design of the protection of the selected habitat type, threatened by the impact of decreasing the number of amphibian populations.
Field activities in places where security measures are implemented.
