The aim of the course is to provide theoretical and practical knowlegde on vegetation cover of Poland, e.i. basic geographical, ecological, historical groups of vascular plant species and bryophytes in Polish flora, and main types of plant communities in Poland.
General knowledge on botany or plant biology.
Flora of Poland (general characteristics). Floristic elements: historical, geographycal. Life forms. Chosen groups of vascular plants (native and alien species): trees, shrubs, lianas, perrenials, annuals. Protected species. Vegetation, plant community. Main types of plant communities in Poland. Geobotanical division of Poland. Invasive species. Synanthropization of plant cover.
Lectures: informative multimedial presentations. Laboratories: practical trainig.

The credit is given basing on the positive evaluation of all laboratory training sessions, positive results of the written test (consists of 20 open
and closed questions; the positive result is based on a positive evaluation of a minimum 60% of the questions), and positive evaluation of the project.
