Zapoznanie słuchaczy z podstawowymi składnikami materii, ich podziałem i zarysem metod ich opisu oraz opisu ich wzajemnych oddziaływań.
Analiza matematyczne, metody matematyczne fizyki, mechanika teoretyczna i relatywistyczna, podstawy fizyki kwantowej.
Wykład: Historyczny rozwój fizyki cząstek elementarnych - podział cząstek elementarnych. Symetrie. Modele cząstek elementarnych i ich klasyfikacja. Kinematyka relatywistyczna. Funkcja Lagrange’a w fizyce cząstek, pola, prądy, ładunki, symetrie i prawa zachowania.
