Aim of the course

The students are expected to learn the history of artistic activities through the use of technical media of reproduction and be able to use them in their own practice.

Prerequisites

Sucessful entrance to Erasmus program.

Scope

Performative and multimedia actions - exercises with the use of video medium to capture the performative actions and to create original statements with its help. Classical performance, avant-garde theater and cinema, choreographic and workshop activities in contemporary artistic practice. Political body, intimacy and politics in art works. 

Teaching methods

Topic-based exercises. Individual and group consultations. Presentations of prepared works.

Assignment conditions

The students are expected to submit individual pieces of art based on at least two means of expression. Presentation of the concept of the work in oral and written form with reference to art history.
