Lecture
Adjusting the organisational structure to the system and process management. The rôle and place of innovation in the organisational structure. Process restructuring management. Basics of designing new production and service processes. Value analysis in the restructuring of production and service processes. Re-engineering. Lean manufacturing. “Just-in-time”. Kaizen's philosophy in economic processes. Target costing (target costs). Outsourcing, insourcing and franchising. Benchmarking and economic intelligence in shaping production and service processes.
Project
Business system and process analysis. Re-engineering. Improving the organisational structure. Design, network, virtual and other structures. Competition and co-operation - outsourcing, insourcing, world-sourcing. Strategic alliances. Lean manufacturing. Kaizen's philosophy.

Project - individual and group work of students using the literature and notes from lectures, round table discussion and exchange of ideas.
