Aim of the course

The aim of this course is to:

  • master the skills of independent execution of interior design projects and interior detail design in the pre-defined space and to develop skills in a creative space planning. Preparation for the implementation of projects in the field of interior design and for system design, as well as comprehensive design.
  • familiarize students with the possibilities of potential changes linking issues of varius dysciplines and issues from different disciplines and fields of knowledge in the field of the developed space. The developed space refers to the interiors of residential premises or lokal service, workspace, place of rest and recreation. with particular emphasis on its functions. Learning organization interior space and linear, synthetic presentation.

  • gain practical knowledge of the principles of interior spatial composition and fittings sites.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of composition, drawings and hand-written, presentation skills concept in the form of drawings and sketches.

Scope

The basis of course contents is the knowledge of the shape and form of architectural space in relation to man. Both seen as issues arising from the integration of artistic experience, technical knowledge, humanistic tradition, culture and economic reasons.

The projects relate to the human environment, understood as: interior landscaping, residential and public buildings, workplace, place of rest and recreation.

Students learns the capabilities of connecting change issues from a variety of disciplines and fields of knowledge in the forthcoming space near the man understood as: t.

An important issue is that students understand the scope of the changes in the process of transforming design. The effect of education is to prepare the implementation of projects in the field of interior design.

The course is to prepare student for system design, as well as comprehensive design.

In the classes of the course of the Interior Architecture Design Basics issues are discussed concerning the analysis and selection problems in a specific project and utility, technical and aesthetic issues combined with historical, culture and social conditions.

Student masters the skills of synthetic and linear recording design information, at the stage of project development, as well as giving the final.

Teaching methods

Classes are based on the implementation of individual projects or work in groups, are connected with the discussion problematic. Classes are complement with presentations and lectures, that might be combined with multimedia presentation.

Assignment conditions

Included with the assessment of the rank test on the basis of the work done, (the quality and originality), and presentation of the project.

Student's work and project is rated overall, considering the attendance, participation and involvement, and systematic work.

Presentation of design process and finalizing project in the specified period are the conditions to pass the course.
