Cel przedmiotu

The aim of the course is to improve language and communication competence in the field corresponding to the B2 + level of the European Language Description System to the extent that: use of a foreign language for the needs of study, in particular skilful use of various foreign language sources, media, popular and specialist literature, continuation of education in within the selected specialization at foreign universities, performing professional or scientific work with the use of a foreign language.

1. Selected issues concerning sociological phenomena in the contemporary world.
2. Problems and threats of the modern world.
3. Current social trends.

Metody kształcenia

Communication method, discussion, work with scientific text in a foreign language, group work, brainstorming. Group work, brainstorming, presentations.
