Introduction to information technologies and relation databases
Lecture:
1. Information and knowledge - economic and legal aspects of using in management.
2. Transactions and transaction systems, requirements and implementation in the course of business
3..Generations of integrated management systems - functionality and structure
4. Functionalities and applications of ERP systems
5. Offer and examples of solutions and implementation possibilities of ERP class systems
6. Directions of development of integrated management information systems
7. Economic analysis of implementation for specific requirements
Project:
Two-stage,
1. where the first stage, requires the design and implementation in a spreadsheet of a transaction system - Invoicing for the sales system with additional possibilities in terms of data analysis functionality and knowledge extraction on:
- the best client, the client wich generating the highest turnover in a given period of time,
- the best sold product, the product witch most often sold within a given period of time,
- the best profitable product, this a product that generates the highest profit in a given period of time,
2. The second stage, on the other hand, concerns the preparation of an economic analysis for an ERP implementation model in a project that meets certain requirements.
Lecture with multimedia and Internet content presentation
Project Conversations deepening the knowledge and clarifying for the correct understanding of the issues.Preparation of project documentation in UML and implementation of projects in accordance with the instructor's instructions for defined IMS functionalities in accordance with the requirements of the ERP class

The final grade for the subject consists of (50%) the assessment of the project (50%) and (50%) the grade of the lecture. The pass mark for the course is a positive assessment of the lecture and project.
