Cel przedmiotu

The aim of this course is to:

  • master the basic knowledge and basic skills necessary to understand the rules in art and design. This course aims to gain the ability to record synthetic and linear design information during the design stage of the development project, as well as in the final stage.

  • learn and understand the principles of spatial composition Interior, such as harmony, contrast, balance, accents, scale, diversity, etc.

As a result of the exercise, the student should be able to:

  • recognize individual architectural elements of the building and its interior,

  • sketch elements of interiors and architecture details

  • make use of bibliographic materials (documentation of studies of the tough field, catalogs, application of standards, normative and technical conditions of design, master some basic skills of:

  • the architectural design of the residential building;

  • equipment design and residential interior design;

  • the architectural design of the public buildings;

  • the architectural design of the building;

  • design of building plots for detached houses;

  • design of building land for multifamily housing;

  • design elements of small architecture (architecture details).

Zakres tematyczny

A student learns basic rules of spatial composition: harmony, contrast, balance, placing emphasis, using scale and proportions, etc.

A student learns to formulate ideas and utility programs in design tasks, with particular regard to their function.

A student is familiarized with the changes in the interior of a residential or service.

In the teaching process, the issues relating to the valuation area subject to development and organization design space are covered and discussed.

Warunki zaliczenia

Grade equals the grade of the exam.

Included with the assessment on the basis of the work done and presentation of the project.

Presentation of the design process and finalizing the project in the specified period are the conditions to pass the course.

Students' work and the project are rated overall, considering the attendance, participation, involvement, and systematic work.
