Cel przedmiotu

The course aims to enable students to acquire knowledge of the English language at the B1 level as defined by the European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Zakres tematyczny

The following topics are covered in the course:

1. Development of listening and speaking, reading, and writing skills at the A2+/B1 level in everyday situations.

2. Mastery of grammatical structures used to express the present, past, and future.

3. Expansion of cultural and civilizational components focused on the lifestyle in English-speaking counties.

4. Introduction to technical and specialist language in the field of management and production engineering.

5. Description of the construction and operation of basic computer elements.

6. Materials and their properties.

7.Measurement systems and basic mathematical operations.

8. Customer Service:

10. telephone and face-to-face conversations

11.Analysis of customer needs.

Metody kształcenia

The course will be conducted using conventional methods such as lectures, as well as activities that involve working in pairs, groups, and individual work. Various audio-visual and multimedia aids will also be utilized to enhance learning.

Warunki zaliczenia

The assessment will be based on two written tests evaluating the student's knowledge of the English language at the B1 level according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages, as well as on active participation and skills related to completing specific tasks such as conducting presentations, written assignments, individual work, and group work. The final grade will be an average of these two components.
