1. Providing students with knowledge about:
- basic information on the individual characteristics of children affecting the learning of foreign languages,
- traditional and alternative methods of teaching children foreign language
2. Developing the ability to adapt methods and forms of teaching to the age and possibilities of children and pupils.
3. Developing the ability to design language classes for preschool and early school children.
Basic knowledge about child development.
1. Development of a child in preschool and early school age and early learning of foreign languages
2. The content of teaching foreign languages in kindergarten and classes I-III.
3. Conventional and unconventional methods of teaching foreign language.
4. The use of teaching aids in learning foreign languages: didactic games, plays, films, songs, drama, literature and worksheets.
5. Design language classes for children of preschool and early school age.
6. Observations of foreign language classes in educational practice
Multimedia presentation, practice, work with text, discussion, project. Individual student work (e.g. reading and analysis) according to the teacher's instructions.
