Cel przedmiotu

In the final semester of the MA program English Language Classes (ELC) is equivalent to the Integrated Skills course. Its aim is to study technical or specialized English in the fields designated by the teacher, and thus to consolidate and advance the student's language skills aiming at the C2 level of English.

Zakres tematyczny

Authentic texts in the fields of e.g., film and theatre, literary criticism, linguistics, management, marketing, tourism, psychology, medicine, science etc.

Metody kształcenia

Authentic text study, discussion, individual, pair and group work, conversation-oriented exercises, presentation, written assignments.

Credit with grade.

To pass English Language Classes (ELC) you need to receive a positive grade for the Integrated Skills course.

Conditions:

Achieving threshold levels for planned oral and written assignments (60%); regular attendance and active participation in classes for each component course.
