Aim of the course

The course aims to survey the main trends in twentieth-century literary theory. 

Prerequisites

English language level C1

Scope

The selected literary theories: liberal humanism, New Criticism, structuralism, narratology, psychoanalysis, feminism, postcolonialism, posthumanism. The detailed syllabus is presented at the beginning of the course.
