Cel przedmiotu

The acquisition by students of knowledge about the premises, directions and key mechanisms of the EU climate policy and the ability to recognize the causes and effects of changes climate as well as stimulating "pro-climatic" attitudes.

Zakres tematyczny

The concept of climate, the essence and effects of climate change; the concept, premises and structure of the EU climate policy; strategies, mechanisms and instruments of climate and the EU energy sector; European transport strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change; European strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change by housing, services and agriculture; mechanisms and instruments of the European policy of adaptation to climate change; mechanisms and instruments of European policy increasing resilience to the consequences of climate change.
