The aim of this subject is knowledge dissemination of data analysis in small and medium enterprises (SME), and the presentation of using standard software to support data analysis in SME.
Lecture: Data sources in SME. Advantages and limitations related to data collection from an enterprise information system. Issues related to data quality. Methods and models of data analysis in the aspect of SME. Multi-dimensional data analysis.
Laboratory: The use of standard software (e.g., spreadsheet software) to perform data analysis. Various ways for presenting results of data analysis. Multi-dimensional data analysis in various areas of business (e.g., sales, purchasing, warehouse).
Conventional lecture, case study, presentation, discussion.
