The student's acquisition of knowledge in the field of lean management and the development of the ability to apply this concept in practice in production and service organizations.
Lectures: The essence of lean management. Conditions for the implementation of the lean management concept in various types of organizations. The strategy of implementing lean management in the organization. Leadership in lean management. Shaping an organizational culture focused on continuous improvement.
Exercises: Practical application of lean management in organizations. Building a lean strategy. Students in teams solve practical problems related to the development and implementation of streamlining changes focused on slimming organizations. Classes in the form of presentations, analysis and discussion.
Lectures with multimedia presentation. Exercises in the form of case studies - case study, discussion.

Lecture - written test, exercises - pass with a grade. The minimum threshold for passing the test is min. 51% of correct answers from the theoretical issues presented in the lecture. The condition to get a credit for the exercises is to prepare and present a project on the possibility of using selected lean management tools in the organization.
