Cel przedmiotu

Presentation and discussion of selected concepts, phenomena and processes related to the issues of public-social partnership and public-private partnership. Indication of cause-and-effect relationships occurring in the area of cooperation between private, public and non-governmental entities.

Knowledge of economics.

Zakres tematyczny

Lecture content: Introduction to the issues of public-social and public-private partnership. Partnership as a form of organized activity based on cooperation between organizations from different sectors. Legal conditions of the partnership. EU and government programs to support partnership and cross-sectoral cooperation. Challenges of the Polish public-social and public-private partnership.

Exercise content: Partnership as the basis for the development of social services. Benefits and risks of using partnerships. Methodical basis of projected partnership research. Identification of management practices in public-social and public-private partnerships - good practices. Programs of cooperation between local government units and non-governmental organizations.

Metody kształcenia

Lecture: conventional, problematic.

Exercise: classical problem method, discussion, case method, guiding text method.

Warunki zaliczenia

The grade for the subject consists of the grade for lectures (50%) and exercises (50%).

Lecture: pass with a grade. The lecture will be passed in writing in one time for all students. The condition for passing the lecture is to solve the test verifying the effects of education in the field of knowledge with the result of at least 60% of correct answers.

Exercise: pass with a grade. The basic condition is attendance at classes. Students are required to actively and systematically participate in classes. In the case of absences resulting from important reasons, it is necessary to agree with the instructor how to make up for missed exercises. In order to justify the absence from classes, the student presents an appropriate certificate within 14 days.

The condition for passing the classes is: a positive grade from the colloquium (60%), active participation in classes (20%), presentation prepared individually or in a group (20%). The colloquium, evaluating the effects of education in terms of knowledge and skills, will be held in the form of a test consisting of closed and open questions. The total number of points that can be obtained from the test is 100. The sum of the points obtained from the test will determine the assessment: very good (91 - 100 points), good plus (81 - 90 points), good (71 - 80 points), sufficient plus (61 - 70 points), sufficient (51 - 60 points). During the semester, students can earn extra points for activity. Additional points can be obtained for documented activity related to the subject matter conducted as part of extracurricular activities, e.g. projects carried out in scientific clubs, additional individual projects, publications in magazines.
