The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge in the field of financial stimulation of the development of public and social organisations. An additional aim is to encourage students to deepen the knowledge they have acquired, in particular on the basis of observation of current events taking place in the public finance sector.

Lecture:
Principles of financial management of public organizations. Sources of financing of public organizations. Financial resources from the European Union. Budget of public organisations. Efficiency, rationality and economy in the use of financial resources. Areas of support of public and social organisations. Management of assets of public organizations.
Exercises:
Sources of financing of public organizations. Sources of financing of third sector organizations. Sources of financing of social economy entities. Good practices of non-governmental organizations. The use of EU funds in financing the statutory objectives of non-governmental organizations.
Lecture: conventional lecture
Exercises: classical problem method, discussion, group work, work with source document.

Lecture: getting a positive mark in a written test consisting of a multiple choice test covering the issues discussed in the lecture. A student obtains a credit if he/she obtains the required minimum score, i.e. 55 percent.
Exercises: obtaining a positive mark in a colloquium consisting of a multiple-choice and supplementary test. The test will consist of 15-20 questions and the required minimum to pass the test is to obtain 55 per cent of positive answers. The student's activity and participation in the preparation of a presentation on the issues discussed will be an important element in passing the course.
The grade for the course will be the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained from the lecture and exercises, with the assumption that both grades are at least satisfactory.
