A prerequisite for passing the lecture is obtaining a positive mark in a written test consisting of a multiple-choice test covering the issues discussed in the lecture. A student obtains a credit if he/she obtains the required minimum score, i.e. 55 percent.
In order to pass the exercises, a positive mark is obtained from a colloquium in the form of a supplementary test comprising 10-15 questions, and the required minimum is 55 percent of positive answers. Another criterion for passing is the preparation and presentation of a presentation on one of the topics covered in the programme during the exercises. The presentation will be assessed in terms of content, presentation of the topic and timeliness of the information used, in particular statistical data.
An additional criterion taken into account in the final grade of the exercises is the activity in class marked by the instructor. Student activity in at least 60% of classes translates into an increase of the final grade by half.
