The essence of public management. Management models in public administration. Model of bureaucratic management. New Public Management (NPM). New Public Service (NPS). Public Governance (PG). Characteristics of contemporary public services. Measuring the effectiveness of organizations providing public services. TQM, benchmarking and reengineering in public administration.

Metody kształcenia

Conventional lecture with elements of a conversation class.

Warunki zaliczenia

The condition for passing the lecture is to obtain a positive grade from a written test consisting of a multiple-choice test covering the issues discussed in the lecture. The student obtains credit when he receives the required minimum of points, i.e. 55 percent (K_W01, K_W02, K_W13, K_U14, K_K01). The final grade is the grade from the lecture.
